The e-Discovery learning module provided by Yegal Academy was an excellent opportunity to enhance pre-existing knowledge of e-discovery as well as gain a fundamental understanding of the e-Discovery process. I highly recommend this to all law students and paralegals as it’s a one hour course that will definitely heighten your interests in e-Discovery and place you at reach with potential employers. Yegal was able to bridge my knowledge gap in eDiscovery via their eDiscovery First Principles course. This short course provided a comprehensive overview of the process and pathway of eDiscovery with a general case study and useful legislative checklist resource, importantly, through a paralegal's perspective. With this newly learned skill, I feel more equipt in taking on projects.

If your looking to get a foundational understanding of E-Discovery, Yegal Academy's 'E-Discovery Essentials: First Principles' course is the way to go. Through its interactive and easy to use structure, the course provides a detailed overview of what E-Discovery involves and the role played by paralegals. What I loved most about the course was its use of a case study. This enabled me to get a clear understanding of the E-Discovery process. Taking this course has definitely encouraged me to explore E-Discovery further!

The Yegal Academy 'E-Discovery Essentials: First Principles' course provides an excellent overview of e-discovery and the skills and knowledge related to the process of e-discovery.The course was very informative, well-structured, and easy to use. It covered the context and underlying importance of e-discovery in commercial litigation, relevant legislation and regulatory instruments, and (most importantly) provided me with practical tools and frameworks for approaching e-discovery in professional settings.Whether you are a current law student, recent law graduate, or simply looking to expand your career into legal support roles, I strongly recommend taking this course, as you will pick up some very valuable practical professional skills and knowledge.

Sure, simple and supportive. Michael and Swaroop at the Yegal team helped me get interviews with very prominent law firms and in-house roles at various ASX listed companies. I was successfully contracted to work for a top tier law firm in March 2021. They also published my legal articles on their website to provide me with further exposure. The individualised support I received from Michael and Swaroop who worked around the clock to answer my texts, emails and provide individualised feedback on interview strategy, etc, was essential.The Yegal Academy program deserves a review in its own right. The platform provided a thorough education of the e discovery process, which allowed me to get an edge during the interview process and at work. The practical tips, case summaries and video modules went above and beyond the textbook. They provided me with a solid head start into the professional application of eDiscovery.

I am studying a JD currently and, for reasons out of my control, suddenly found myself in the market for a new job. I decided to take this opportunity to move from my previous industry into a law job but was struggling to land interviews out of 30+ applications. I spotted an ad for a Yegal eDiscovery job, with a link to the Yegal Academy's eDiscovery training module. The training was a good introduction to the concepts of eDiscovery, and I was able to successfully complete it within an afternoon of study. Once completed, Yegal then invited me to a meeting where we discussed some potential employment opportunities, and I was offered a paralegal role the following week. They have been very supportive and encouraging through this process. If you're keen on paralegal work and don't know where to start, you should definitely give Yegal a try.

Taking my first course on Yegal Academy really opened my eyes to the various nuances of e-discovery. It was an excellent, short and entertaining module that really educates you from a practical perspective on e-discovery. I would recommend any young law student aspiring to be a lawyer to take it as to become more aware of their work fits into the grander picture. Its main benefit is that it looks good on the CV too.
